Fire truck fun

At our neighborhood's annual block party in late September, the organizer had the brilliant idea to ask the Cedarburg Fire Department to send one of their fire trucks to visit.  They did, and it was a HUGE hit, particularly with Simon.  They let the kids climb all over the truck and try on fire hats, and then they did a presentation as well.  It was a really fun time for everyone!

One recent chilly Saturday, we took another trip to the zoo.  Simon loves the zoo and we are planning to make good use of our family membership there.

According to Simon, his favorite things to see at the zoo are the bears, the tigers and the penguins.
