Golf

Simon got some golf clubs for Christmas - not "real" ones but plastic ones, but there is a driver and a wedge and a putter, and Simon just LOVES them.  The golf balls are also not real - they are soft and light, but Simon can really get them up in the air!

Random spring photos

I'm so behind on photos.  Here are some from late spring / early summer, which was virtually nonexistent in Wisconsin, but we managed to get out when it was nice.

One of the first things Simon did on one of the first nice days was to break out the chalk:

We also finally got to dive in to his stock of 4T short-sleeved shirts.  This was a gift from Craig & Lynn from their trip to Alaska:

We spent a LOT of time riding bikes together this spring.  My view:

One day, I even convinced Simon to ride the 3/4 mile to Piggly Wiggly with me, when we just needed to pick up a few things.  He made it!

His reward was a cake pop from Starbucks:

At the drinking fountain after swimming lessons.  When did he get so tall so as to do this himself????

At our traditional post-swimming-lesson dinner at Noodles & Company.  This was the day he shocked me by requesting something other than his usual buttered noodles with chicken.  Mac & cheese is now his new standard order!
