Slide

Simon got a super-fun slide for his birthday! It took him almost no time at all to figure out how to go up and down. He goes down very carefully, though!

Birthday with the Rybas

Simon got to celebrate his birthday again this past weekend, this time with the Ryba side of the family! Here's a few photos, including many with Simon's cousin Aubrianah. (thanks for the photos Ashlee!)

New tricks in the new house

Simon's been having a blast walking all over the new house. There's so much space! Here he shows off a few of his new tricks - walking around the island in the kitchen, playing with his new refrigerator magnet toys, pushing himself up to standing by himself, and expertly navigating the step from the kitchen to the family room.

Walking videos

Here are a few videos showing how much better Simon's getting at walking! He's also teething, which made him pretty crabby in the first one:

And here's one taken 2 days later from our hew house! This is in the family room:

Stumbling

Last week, Simon took his first steps! He let go of Daddy's hand long enough to take about two steps in this video before falling down. He's getting better and better so more soon!

Birthday Fun

Here's a few photos from Simon's 1st birthday, which he got to spend at Gilbert Lake. It was a great day (warm, perfect for swimming), with wonderful family and friends. Thanks all for making it such a great day! Looking forward to celebrating with the Ryba side of the family in a few weeks. :)
