Mommy and Simon weekend 2

Troy went to Milwaukee again this past weekend, to scope out houses. Simon and I were supposed to go with him, but then Simon got kind of sniffly and snorty on Thursday and it turned in to a full-blown cold on Friday, so we stayed home. Fortunately Friday was the worst of it and he was significantly better on Saturday, and even better on Sunday.

He and I had a lot of fun together over the weekend, helped by the fact that it was BEAUTIFUL out on Saturday (low 70s!) We got out for a walk, which included an iced treat for Mommy:

We also worked more on drinking from a sippy cup, which he's getting better at!


He took a nice nap covered in a blanket his Great-Grandma Peggy knitted for him (and his Grandma Karen embroidered his name on):


And to demonstrate how nice and long his hair is getting, I put it in a mohawk :)


All in all, we had lots of fun!
